Cost-free recruitment service supports logistics resourcing
Sheffield-based Bag It Don’t Bin It Ltd (BIDBI) approached Reed in Partnership’s WHP JETS team in late 2020 with a need to recruit staff to support their operations. BIDBI was able to secure new employees with the straight-forward recruitment and onboarding process available for free through the WHP JETS scheme.
BIDBI wanted to create brand new roles within their business that would be flexible and part-time, but would mark the beginning of their team’s expansion into 2021. In a matter of hours, the WHP JETS team were able to supply BIDBI with a list of relevant candidates and a shortlist for interviews – saving the BIDBI team hours of work and advertising costs.
Through the scheme, candidates’ existing competencies were updated with the latest relevant industry-backed training to ensure that they were ready to hit the ground running and within a few days, successful candidates were offered a paid trial.
The team at BIDBI commented: “Within a few hours of connecting via LinkedIn, Natalie Rollinson (Reed in Partnership) had helped provide over 15 applicants, 10 of which we shortlisted as possible candidates and three for immediate interview.
“Natalie demonstrated excellent customer service and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the New Year.”
Ready to deliver the right people, the ‘Work and Health Programme: Job Entry Targeted Support’ (WHP JETS) scheme provides highly skilled individuals, equipped with the latest relevant industry-backed training, at no cost to the recruiting organisation.
